About Equine City
Equine City is your one-stop shop for all activities around the horse, from miniature to draft. Equine City offers a wide variety of services around the horse and more; our goal is to become an equine event centre where all disciplines can be held.
We are members of the Alberta Equestrian Federation, Equine Canada, the Alberta Stable Initiative, the Canadian Halflinger Association, and the Federation of International Horse Agility Clubs, as well as the American Farriers Association. We are fully insured and carry a commercial liability insurance of $5 million. |
History
What started out as a farrier business, GP Farrier Services & Supply Ltd. in December 2009 grew into what is known today as Equine City. After we opened the farrier business people saw the quality workmanship and started to inquire if we offered other services as well: riding lessons, trail rides, boarding, etc. were common requests. We also noticed an interest in bookings for our draft teams for events such as weddings, sleigh rides, and parades. That is when the idea of one day opening up a full service equine facility started to grow.

Trail Rides - locally
At Equine City we understand that everyone has different riding abilities, therefore we offer several different trail ride packages designed to suit almost anyone: 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or full day.
